Cells Alive

Hey 5th and 6th graders! Let's learn about plant and animals cells. Check out the  Cells Alive website. First thing to do is click on the Interactive Cell Models then chose either a plant or animal cell animation. Next study the parts of each cell and all their parts. Fill out the worksheets, labeling the cell parts. If you have time check out the rest of the website.

Weather Wiz Kids Scavenger Hunt

Open a Google document and name it Weather Wiz Kids - then share with me at laustin@abbottmemorial.org. Now, in a separate window open the link for Weather Wiz Kids. Browse around this site for 1/2 hour and write down 15 interesting and true facts about weather that you found on this site - no cutting and pasting please. Once you are done make sure you have shared this document with me. For the next few minutes you can explore the weather games on this site.
