Nature Journaling

Hey 4th grade nature journalers,

Here are some sites that will help you identify some of the plants and critters you find. Have fun and remember you don't have to be an artist to nature journal but you do have to be a scientist.

Go Botany - this will help you identify almost any plant you may find.
Plantnet - this is a free app for your phone that helps you identify plants. Please check with a parent before installing!

Massachusetts Insects   - tons of pictures to help you identify any insects you may find.
Insect Identification Key - this is a great way to identify insects and learn how to use a dichotomous key.

Mass Audubon Reptiles and Amphibians - check out this site to find some of your favorite critters. You have to click on a few links to get to different animals.
New Hampshire Fish and Game - lot's of local reptiles and amphibians

Monarch Movie

Hey 4th grade entomologists - that means scientists that study bugs!
